Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V arrived in Delhi, India on 23rd November 2008. Huzoor greeted hundreds of members of the local Jama’at at Bait-ul-Haadi Mosque in Delhi.
Following his visit to Delhi, Huzoor made a historic visit to the southern state of Kerala, where a plaque was unveiled by Huzoor at Bait-ul-Qudoos Mosque to commemorate this event. Huzoor addressed those present, saying:
"Through Allah’s Grace you have all accepted the claim of the Promised Messiah, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. It is now up to you to continually develop in virtue so that your good example is there for all of the people of Kerala to see. I hope and pray that you continue to manifest the goodness that allowed you and your forefathers to accept Ahmadiyyat."
Huzoor also delivered the Friday Sermon from Kerala on 28th November 2008.
